New resources and March events

Finding the right help for your mental health can be challenging and expensive.  Fortunately, there are some great local resources in North Texas. You can combine personal work, free resources, and professional help to heal. One of my goals as a counselor is to reach as many people as I can.

This week, I went live with my new website. Take a tour and you’ll find a resources tab with useful mental health information including links to local and national mental health organizations and resources. You’ll also find book recommendations because the personal work is a critical component to healing. You’ll see a mental health video series that I recorded when the pandemic began. Of course, you’ll have access to all my blogs as well.

I also added an events tab. I speak at local venues on various mental health topics. I provide education and training around understanding and managing negative emotions, utilizing interpersonal tools and techniques, and connecting spirituality and mental health among other practical topics.

You can see a full list of Upcoming Events here.

There are many wonderful organizations and programs in north Texas! If you’re trying to find a resource, a great place to start is Here for Texas through the Grant Halliburton Foundation. No one should struggle alone. We all deserve happiness, connection, and love. If you’re struggling, reach out for help. Sometimes it takes a little help to get you started on your path to healing.
